Goldcoast is one of my favorite holiday destinations. This time I have booked the Rhapsody hotel on surfer paradise which has amazing ocean view rooms. We were roaming the city till late night as I like the Goldcoast nightlife, my wife suggested to go to the top floor and have city view and oh boy it was amazing. I will post few more snap quickly.

The tide was high, crashing against the rocky cliff-face. This was taken on a warm Spring day a short stroll from Snapper Rocks. The water dazzled in the sunlight and the sea was varying shades of turquoise blue. I liked the contrast Black and White creates, allowing the white wash to shine through.

I’ve seen them pictured online, but experiencing the glow worms in person was phenomenal. The way they scattered the walls, very much alive and wiggling. I learned they’re not actually worms, but larvae that feed for 9 months, then live as adults for 2-3 days. That’s just enough time to mate, lay eggs, and die. An unfortunate life in my opinion, but man are they beautiful.
